If there's one Superstar who has nailed their character in the last few years, it has got to be Bray Wyatt/The Fiend. Yes, he incurred a loss against Goldberg earlier this year. However, he managed to come out of that loss stronger than ever with a decisive victory over John Cena.
It's rumored that The Fiend will resume his feud against current Universal Champion, Braun Strowman upon his return to WWE. This could even mean that the former Eater of the Worlds once again reigns as SmackDown's undisputed World Champion.
With Survivor Series just around five months away, there is a strong chance that we get to see Drew McIntyre and The Fiend in a colossal Champion vs. Champion match. Given how protected The Fiend's character is, it would propel the Scottish Psychopath to the moon if he can put The Fiend away with a Claymore or two.
In just a year, Wyatt has established his alter-ego as a credible threat to anyone he steps in the ring with. Moreover, the fact that his storylines involve his opponents' past serves as the icing on the cake. In Drew McIntyre's case, there are a lot of moments in McIntyre's previous run with WWE which can be used in the feud in question.
This rivalry would enable Drew McIntyre to polish his character work and put him in a position where he would NEED the win. A victory against The Fiend could, in turn, make Drew McIntyre the torchbearer of WWE for years to come.
