#4. WWE Superstar Xavier Woods

Just like his New Day partner Big E, Xavier Woods has never had the chance to fight for one of the two major titles in WWE.
The 34-year-old has excelled in tag team wrestling to become a multi-time Tag Team Champion. However, unlike his partners, Big E and Kofi Kingston, he could not win any singles titles.
Despite being in WWE for nine years since his NXT debut, Woods had only three shots at singles championships. His first opportunity came on Monday Night RAW in May 2014 when he participated in a Battle Royal for the United States Championship. Sheamus won the match to walk out with the title.
A few months later, Woods participated in another Battle Royal at WWE Battleground, but this time for the Intercontinental Championship. Again, the New Day member came up short as The Miz captured the title.
Surprisingly, Woods' last shot at a singles title came nearly six years ago when he answered John Cena's United States Championship open challenge. He lost that match by disqualification.
Xavier Woods recently defeated WWE Champion Bobby Lashley on the July 12 episode of Monday Night RAW. However, he does not seem close to getting a title shot after Goldberg's return to challenge The Almighty.
