Gerald Brisco, one of the most famous legends of the wrestling business, had a long-standing relationship with Vince McMahon. He didn't wrestle in WWE for too long, retiring from in-ring competition soon after he joined. However, he decided to stay on in another capacity.

The WWE Superstar was one of the most important men behind the scenes. Known for his on-screen role as one of Vince McMahon's stooges, Gerald Brisco worked hand-in-hand with the WWE Chairman backstage as well. He worked as a road agent and booker for the company for a long time, until the pandemic hit. In April 2020, he was furloughed from the company. In September 2020, he was released from WWE altogether.

The former superstar revealed that Vince McMahon had personally called him and informed him of his release.
