Kofi Kingston's rise to the top of the WWE mountain, winning the WWE Championship at the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania, when he beat Daniel Bryan, has been one of the best stories over the last few years in the WWE.

Kingston's push was organic with the WWE Universe demanding that he get a shot at the WWE title, which is in contrast to how fans have reacted towards Roman Reigns over the last few years.
Kofi will eventually lose the title, but losing it to Reigns will do more harm to Reigns' fan following than to Kofi's. Kofi is incredibly over with the fans right now, while Reigns is still not the WWE Universe's favourite Superstar.
With both being babyfaces, a match between the two would eventually lead to Reigns getting the boos, much like possible feuds with Balor and Ali.
Both Superstars need to face off against unpopular heels on SmackDown Live.
