If we take a look back at how the whole title reign of Kevin Owens started, Triple H had a huge role to play. Hunter had turned on Seth Rollins to give Owens the gold and WWE is still yet to move forward this storyline.

While everyone would be expecting a feud between Rollins and Triple H, WWE could also take a different path and surprise everyone.

Triple H could come out and say that he helped Owens win the gold because it was easier to take the title away from Owens than Rollins. WWE could then build up a short feud between Kevin Owens and Triple H, for the WWE universal championship with the feud ending with Owens retaining, thanks to interference from Rollins.
