The young man from Melbourne, Australia brought fans to their feet in a match against Roman Reigns last week on SmackDown Live. Then, did so again in a match against Daniel Bryan this week. The difference this time though was that Murphy was able to get the win against Bryan and pick up what is arguably the biggest win of his career.
Not only does this booking prove that WWE thinks they have something in Murphy, but it also gives Smackdown Live yet another top babyface. Then again, it's probably best if they build Murphy in the midcard a bit, but eventually the company could have something big here.
In all honesty, Murphy is that rare mix of speed, athleticism, strength and storytelling ability. That guy that can bring you to your feet with every amazing feat he pulls of. While it may be a while before those talents put him at the top of the mountain, they are going to make it a much easier climb.
