One Superstar who has got a push recently is former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander, who was moved to WWE RAW earlier this year, and has come to prominence over the last two months, teaming with Roman Reigns, and then feuding with Drew McIntyre.
Reports suggested that Raw executive director Paul Heyman was responsible for his push, which Alexander spoke abour recently. In an interview with Pro Wrestling Sheet, Alexander spoke about Heyman's role in helping him develop as a wrestler.
See who is stunned by Hulk Hogan's words HERE
"He's (Heyman) really helped me feel more comfortable. He saw a match I had with Bobby Roode months ago on an episode of Main Event and he was a very big fan of it. He's given me pointers on how to project myself better to fans and small little show business quirks. Because that's one of the things I'm not 100% comfortable on sometimes, so talking in front of a camera is something that Paul has definitely helped me get more in tune with."
Alexander, like Ali, is in the King of the Ring tournament, and good performances there could perhaps give him a push and possibly challenge for the US title on RAW in the near future.
