The current RAW Women's Champion Asuka has been a fan-favorite since her time in NXT. Having an unbeaten run on the Black and Gold brand of WWE, she vacated her NXT Women's Championship and came to the main roster. While she had a great start on RAW initially, even winning the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble match in 2018, she lost her steam after a loss to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34.

Not long ago, WWE tried to tweak her character and gave her a funnier persona with her continuously speaking and shouting in her native language. Her on-screen antics immediately struck a chord with the fans who were highly entertained by her segments.

It was reported last month that Vince McMahon has been very impressed with Asuka's work recently and we saw the signs of the same as she won this year's Women's Money in the Bank match. As we know, the match turned out to be for the RAW Women's Championship with Becky Lynch leaving due to her pregnancy. With The Man gone and the Empress of Tomorrow as the RAW Women's Champion, she looks set to dominate the roster on the red brand.
