In February 2016, Daniel Bryan gave a tearful retirement speech, breaking the hearts of many in the WWE Universe.

His return earlier this year has been nothing short of miraculous, with Bryan transitioning back into wrestling after a stint as SmackDown Live General Manager.

Whilst Bryan has yet to receive a shot at the WWE Championship, he will face AJ Styles at Crown Jewel for the gold.

If he fails, having D-Bry win the Royal Rumble would be a great feel-good moment at a show where past winners have often divided the WWE Universe.
