Drew McIntyre is one of those Superstars whom Vince McMahon sees as a future world champion in WWE. Ever since coming back to WWE, Drew has been booked like an absolute monster. But still, there is a lack of connecting between The Scottish Psychopath and the fans.

Though it's tough to see him join the faction he's currently feuding with, Drew could definitely pull out a swerve and join hands with The Shield, replacing Dean Ambrose. This would also set up a future clash between him and Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship and would be a great feud for him to win his first World Title in WWE.

His wrestling style, combined with his amazing personality of a brawler make him a great choice as a replacement of The Lunatic Fringe in The Shield. Introducing him to the main roster on the RAW after WrestleMania as a part of The Shield would be a great way to introduce him to the casual fans who don't watch NXT and don't know him.
