#1 Batista

Finally, at #1 on the list, we have none other than The Animal- Batista! There isn't anybody in the WWE today that has more history with Triple H than Batista himself. The two men were former partners as they were involved in the historic stable also known as Evolution, alongside Randy Orton and Ric Flair. The stable came to an end on the 28th February 2005 edition of Raw when Batista had chosen to face Triple H instead of JBL for the World Heavyweight Championship after winning the Royal Rumble.
This was a monumental moment, as it was a star-defining moment for Batista. Batista & Hunter were then embroiled in one of the most personal feuds in WWE history. We have seen the duo face each other before at Wrestlemania 21 in a bloody match where Triple H put over Batista as The Animal won the World Heavyweight title for the first time in his career.

When Batista made his first return to the WWE- he immediately won the Royal Rumble Match at the 2013 Royal Rumble event. However, the WWE Universe turned their back on Batista due to the fact that they wanted Daniel Bryan to win the Royal Rumble match. Batista failed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 30 in a match against Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. Following this, we saw Evolution reunite for a rivalry against The Shield- but The Shield defeated Evolution twice at Extreme Rules 2014 & Payback 2014.
This then led to Batista quitting the WWE after Triple H had denied him out of a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, on October, 16th 2018- we saw Batista make his second return with Evolution on Smackdown's 1000th episode. Whilst the reunion was a great moment, tensions were created when Batista was talking about The Game- and he claimed that "There is nothing that this man hasn't done in this business...except beat me!"
There is no doubt that this was the moment that planted seeds for a potential Wrestlemania rematch between Batista and Triple H. When Batista appeared on Talk is Jericho, he stated that "I said I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That's the only thing I'm interested in." This proves that a rivalry with Hunter is all that Batista desires, and the best way for this match to finally to occur would be Wrestlemania 35, for the last time ever.
