Finn Balor and Apollo Crews have earlier teamed up in NXT

Apollo Crews and Finn Balor are two such talents who have been constantly overlooked by the WWE writers but of late Crews seems to be receiving a push. He parted ways with Titus O' Neil and recently defeated the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal under 3 minutes on the UK Special episode of RAW.

WWE would not want to have Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler lose their feud against Finn Balor and so they would possibly match Finn with someone who is not so prominent on the main roster. On the other side, this feud would give Apollo some spotlight and who knows, with the tag team division of RAW in a mess, Balor and Crews could form a permanent tag team. Both the talented superstars need to be involved in some meaningful matches on WWE TV and pitting them together against McIntyre and Ziggler can do wonders for them.
