At one point, Tama Tonga was also part of The Bullet Club Latinoamerica, a group that cemented itself as one of the most dominant factions' in CMLL history and was initially kick-started by 'The Bad Boy' himself when he won the CMLL World Tag Team Championships alongside El Terrible (now a former member of The BC).
Later on, Tama also won the CMLL World Tag Titles with Rey Bucanero and what better way to reignite The Bullet Club's relationship with CMLL other than having one of the company's hottest star align himself with the faction.
