#1 Shinsuke Nakamura - New Japan Pro Wrestling

The WWE arrival of Shinsuke Nakamura received the pomp and ceremony it deserved.
Debuting in NXT in 2016, the King of Strong Style did wonders for the promotion after the departure of Finn Balor, including being a two-time NXT Champion.
Joining SmackDown Live in 2017, Nakamura has received stop-start pushes, winning the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble, but losing at WrestleMania 34.
And despite being a two-time former US Champion, his second reign lasted days, whilst his first went under the radar.
Returning to New Japan could be the right choice for Nakamura, who will be able to show more personality on the mic in his homeland.
And with the promotion allegedly talking to Nakamura about a return, and his contract in WWE coming to an end soon, this could be very likely.
