Elias has been out due to an injury

Elias has been out of action for over a month, due to an ankle injury that he suffered. The injury forced him to pull out of the King of the Ring tournament, and he was replaced by Shane McMahon.

We reported last month that Elias would return at the end of October, which fits perfectly for him to make a comeback at Crown Jewel. Elias was involved in the battle for the 24/7 title before his injury, feuding with R-Truth, and we could perhaps see him re-enter the race for the title.

Sunil Singh, one-half of The Singh Brothers, is currently the title holder, after he won it from R-Truth on RAW.

Elias could also be a part of the 20-man Battle Royal, kicking off the show like he did earlier this year in the Royal Rumble, where he was the first man to enter the ring. There is a possibility of him feuding with Chad Gable once again.
