One half of the former tag team American Alpha, Chad Gable is seriously underrated. His in-ring work is actually phenomenal and whenever he's got camera time, he makes the best use of it and shines brighter than his opponents, even when he loses the match.

The guy who actually would be a more believable son to Kurt Angle has the skills, along with the charisma which was evident when he was interviewed right after Jason Jordan was announced as Kurt's son. He would definitely make the US title match a blockbuster encounter and would definitely give him an opportunity which is long overdue.
