Heralded by many WWE legends as a future World Champion, Drew McIntyre has done decently in his second stint with the company. With the NXT Championship reign being the highlight of this tenure, Drew McIntyre has wandered near the main event scene without making a real impact.

And, feuds with Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and an association with Shane McMahon has seen his stocks go down in recent months. A shocking loss to former Cruiserweight champion, Cedric Alexander has done his reputation no good too.
Currently, Drew McIntyre is the early favourite to be crowned the King of the Ring. Walking along similar lines, the WWE could push the Scottish Psychopath to greener pastures and a shot at the biggest championships, especially with a genuine lack of heels in the business right now.
Only time will tell whether the WWE can bank upon McIntyre's character and carve out a path for him.
