#5 Finn Balor
The first-ever Universal Champion, Finn Balor is considered to be one of the best in the world by most WWE fans. His main roster stint started off brightly with him overcoming Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on his way to becoming the Universal Champion.
His success, though, was bittersweet with an injury sustained during that very match forcing him to relinquish the title almost instantly. Since then, apart from a couple of Intercontinental Championship reigns, Balor hasn't had much to do on the main event front.
He showed glimpses of what he is capable of, against Brock Lesnar at this year's Royal Rumble. He ran the Beast Incarnate close with his dangerous manoeuvres as he earned rave reviews for his performance.
Moreover, his Demon King gimmick is one of the most treasured gimmicks in the company but it is currently being used very sparingly.
Thus, with the WWE being more open to quality matches rather than big names, Balor is undoubtedly one to keep an eye on, as the company looks to reinvigorate itself in the coming months and years.
