Kane has faced the Undertaker at Wrestlemania twice.

Considering the history that Kane shares with The Undertaker, Kane retiring The Demon of Death Valley will be a fitting tribute to the careers of Undertaker, Kane and the late Paul Bearer. The Big Red Machine was introduced as Undertaker's half brother, and since then has been involved in various angles with The Phenom and Paul Bearer.

Kane has both stood against and with The Lord of Darkness. Together, the Brothers of Destruction have won the WWF Tag Team Championship twice. As an opponent, the Devil's Favourite Demon has challenged Undertaker at WrestleMania twice. However, just like the 'Taker, Kane is also way past his prime.

While Kane has been more active than his kayfabe brother, it isn't wrong to say that his last few runs with the company have been rather meaningless. Kane is a legend in his own right and there is no better send off for The Big Red Machine than to end the career of Undertaker
