Having entertained legions of WWE fans for more than a decade, John Cena's days as a professional wrestler are becoming numbered.

Unfortunate, but the truth. However, his career span has included breath-taking matches with well-crafted rivalries that have elevated Cena's career.

But, his SummerSlam record has been pretty disappointing. The Face that runs the place carries a 4-7 record at the show, with four wins and seven losses.

The 16-time World Champion has, however, closed the event five times, delivering exceptional bouts with the likes of Edge, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, and Daniel Bryan.

His highly anticipated match against Nexus where he teamed up against six prolific performers main-evented SummerSlam 2010.

The match's ending was highly criticized, but records will always mention the former World Champion headlining it. His SummerSlam record has been pretty disappointing, but that hasn't stopped Cena from delivering when it matters.

Since he's rumoured to return to a date this year with the Phenom, let's hope that the Cenation leader finally ends his six-year drought with a win.
