Wrestlemania is the biggest event in WWE history, and it is known as the Grandest Stage Of Them All for a reason. Many superstars get the privilege of making it to the card, however, WWE has a tendency of booking various superstars in multi-man and multi-women matches in order to get them all on the card.
However, there isn't anything bigger than to get a Singles match on any Wrestlemania card as this suggests that the WWE has the utmost faith in you to deliver. There are multiple superstars who have yet to have that opportunity of getting a one on one match at WWE's biggest PPV event.
Here is a list of 5 superstars who have not yet had a Wrestlemania singles match but are definitely do deserve a one on one opportunity at WWE's biggest PPV event.

#5 Becky Lynch
On the 13th July 2016, Becky Lynch made her official debut on the main roster on Raw alongside Sasha Banks and Charlotte as Stephanie McMahon had announced that there would be a "Divas Revolution" (later turned to "Women's Evolution") in the Divas division. She started off in a stable called PCB along with Charlotte Flair and Paige.
Lynch has had a great run on the main roster so far, as she is currently on Smackdown. She is a former two-time Smackdown Women's Champion, and she is definitely the most over women in the entire WWE right now. You could even make the claim that she is also the most popular superstar in the WWE in general today.
However, it would come as a surprise that The Man has yet to have a one on one Singles match at Wrestlemania. She has competed in 3 Wrestlemania matches, with the first one being at Wrestlemania 32, where The Irish Lass Kicker battled Sasha Banks & Charlotte in a critically acclaimed match for the Women's Championship, but Lynch wasn't successful at winning.
At Wrestlemania 33, The Man that defines straight fire also went head to head with 5 other women in a 6-Pack Women's Challenge match for the Smackdown Women's Championship again, but again, she failed to reclaim the title. Meanwhile, at Wrestlemania 34, Lynch participated in the Women's Battle Royal match, where she also didn't get the win.
Despite the fact that Becky Lynch has yet to even win a Wrestlemania match, a one on one match against Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship seems to be on the cards due to the rumours in the wrestling world. If this match was to occur, there is no doubt that it would be the first ever Women's main event match at Wrestlemania which would create more history.
#4 Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin made his return to the WWE on the 22nd August 2017 edition of Smackdown during a backstage segment where we saw Benjamin be paired up with Chad Gable. However, the team failed to win the Smackdown Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions before the duo was split up during on April 16th, 2018 in the Superstar Shakeup. Benjamin's Wrestlemania record is a very interesting one, as he has competed in 8 Wrestlemania matches in total despite none of them being one on one matches.
Benjamin has been involved in two multi-man tag team bouts, with a Triple Threat Tag Team Match at Wrestlemania 19 alongside Charlie Hass to win the WWE Tag Team Championships, as well as a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match, again, with Charlie Hass for the WWE Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania 20, in a losing effort.
The Gold Standard has also competed in 5 Money in the Bank matches, which is amazing considering the fact that he has been willing to put his body on the line despite losing them all. Wrestlemania 34 was the most recent PPV that Benjamin was in, as he participated in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal match in another defeat.
But the truth of the matter is, Benjamin is 43 years old and he is getting closer to the end of his career. It doesn't seem very possible that Benjamin will get his one on one Wrestlemania match, but there would be no doubt that he would deserve it if he ever did receive one due to the hard work and dedication that Benjamin has put into the WWE.
#3 Cesaro
At #3, we have The King of Swing in Cesaro as he is arguably one of the best wrestlers in the WWE today. Cesaro debuted on 20th April 2012 episode of WWE Smackdown as he was immediately paired up with Aksana in a quest to earn a contract which he successfully managed to gain.
Cesaro has had a very successful career in the WWE so far, despite not ever winning a world title. He is a former US Champion, and he has been a 6 time Tag Team Champion in total. It's clear that Cesaro is a tag team specialist as he is also currently one half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions at this very moment alongside Sheamus, with the two men competing as The Bar.
The Peak of Technique has been involved in 4 Wrestlemania's in total, but he has competed in 6 matches with two of them being pre-show bouts. He has competed in three Fatal Four Way Tag Team matches, at Wrestlemania 30, 31 & 33. At Wrestlemania 34, The Bar had lost to Braun Strowman & Nicholas in a normal Tag Team match as they lost the Raw Tag Team Championships. Cesaro has also been involved in two Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royals at Wrestlemania 30 & 31, where he was the first ever winner at the 30th event.
Despite the fact that Cesaro is in a tag team with Sheamus- there is no denying that if Cesaro was ever given a one on one opportunity to compete at Wrestlemania with anybody on the Raw or Smackdown roster, he would definitely steal the show due to his fantastic in-ring abilities when it comes to not just telling a story, but also sequencing his moves efficiently. And at the age of 38, there is still plenty of time for a potential singles match to happen.
#2 Kofi Kingston
The second superstar to feature on this list is Kofi Kingston, who is currently part of The New Day with Big E and Xavier Woods. Kofi is a well-accomplished superstar in the WWE, as he is a former 3 time United States Champion, a 4-time Intercontinental Champion as well as an 8 time Tag Team Champion in total.
He has yet to win a world title match but Kofi has appeared in 9 Wrestlemania's, competing in 8 of them. He has featured in two Money in the Bank Ladder matches at Wrestlemania 25 and 26, an 8 Man Tag Team Match at Wrestlemania 27, a 12 Man Tag Team Match at Wrestlemania 28 as well as a 6 Man Tag Team match at Wrestlemania 32.
Kofi has also featured in a Triple Threat Tag Team match at Wrestlemania 34, a Pre-Show Fatal Four Way Tag Team match at Wrestlemania 31, all with tag team titles on the line. However, Kofi has only won 1 of these 8 matches with his win coming at the 8 Man Tag Team Match at Wrestlemania where he teamed up with Big Show, Kane & Santino Marella to defeat The Corre.
The win-loss record at Wrestlemania for Kofi may not be the best, but there is no denying that he is one of the most loyal superstars to the WWE. At Wrestlemania 33, we even saw The New Day host the entire event which signifies the respect that WWE has for trio itself.
Seeing Kofi Kingston finally compete in a singles match at Wrestlemania would be a great sight to see, due to the fact that he still hasn't lost a step in the ring at the age of 37. Despite being part of The New Day, there clearly is plenty of time for Kofi to branch out on his own whether it's with the trio or not for the big singles run that he rightfully deserves.
#1 Dolph Ziggler
Finally, at #1 on the list is none other than The Show-Off, Dolph Ziggler. And you can't deny the fact that despite Ziggler's booking in the WWE being very hit and miss, he has had a very decorated and successful career in the business so far. He is a former 2 time World Heavyweight Champion, a 6-time Intercontinental Champion, a former Money in the Bank briefcase winner as well as a two time Tag Team Champion.
Ziggler has competed in 8 Wrestlemania matches in total, but he has only won one of them with his only win coming at Wrestlemania 28 where he competed in a 12 Man Tag Team Match. On the other hand, as he has competed in 3 Ladder matches with a Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Wrestlemania 26 along with two of those matches being for the Intercontinental Champion at Wrestlemania 31 & 32.
The Show-Off has also participated in a 6 Person Mixed Tag Team Match at Wrestlemania 27, along with a normal Tag Team match for the Tag Team Title with Big E at the 29th edition of Wrestlemania. And lastly, he also featured in two Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal matches at Wrestlemania 33 & 34.
This is definitely a huge list of matches at WWE's biggest PPV of the year, but it's a very big shocker that Ziggler has yet to have a normal one on one singles match at The Grandest Stage of them All. It doesn't matter whether he is playing the role of a heel or a face, but Ziggler always brings 100% into his matches despite his booking not always being the best.
At the age of 38, there are always rumors every single year that Ziggler may leave the WWE. It's unknown whether he's committed to the company itself due to all the talk, but if there is anything that we would like out of Ziggler, it's the opportunity to finally have a Singles match at Wrestlemania.
