In 2014, Daniel Bryan was arguably the hottest thing in professional wrestling since Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Yes! Movement was at its peak and Daniel Bryan was the most over wrestler on the roster. However, as things would turn out to be, Bryan was sidelined for a long time due to multiple injuries. On February 8, 2016, the American Dragon announced his retirement.

While Bryan was keen on returning to the ring, it seemed impossible for him to return to WWE because of its strong policy towards a wrestler's health. Rumors started floating around that Bryan might leave the company and return to the ring in a different promotion. Fortunately, that was not the case. Despite all adversity, Brayn was stubborn on his approach to wrestle again. On March 20, WWE finally allowed the Yes! Man to return to in-ring action. Daniel Bryan had another fairytale story to tell in his career.
