Before Jeff Hardy left the WWE, he was a regular member of SmackDown. Holding the World Heavyweight Championship and feuding with top names like CM Punk, Matt Hardy, and Edge, Jeff Hardy is currently out of action with a shoulder injury and should be cleared to return to action in the upcoming months.

SmackDown Live could use another main event talent to bring more eyes to the brand and the addition of Jeff Hardy would definitely give SmackDown Live the much needed shot in the arm of adrenaline it needs to get back on top.

With Superstars such as AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Dolph Ziggler, and Shinsuke Nakamura for Jeff Hardy to feud with, he could have another successful run with the WWE World Championship. Maybe adding more fuel for an eventual Woken Matt vs Brother Nero down the road.
