Ever since the first ever WWE draft back in 2002, WWE has made it into an annual staple. Now known as the Superstar Shakeup, the WWE Draft is a sure shot way to spice things up and give some never before seen feuds to the fans.
As WrestleMania 35 approaches near, one shouldn't forget that the Shakeup takes place almost immediately after the event, changing the landscape of the company for the next twelve months to come. Let's take a look at 5 superstars who are in a dire need of switching brands and would be better off starting afresh on a new show.
#5 The Revival
Even though The Revival holds the tag team belts, it's no secret how they have been treated by WWE ever since their debut on the main roster. The team went on to request WWE for a release and were immediately made the Raw tag team champions.
SmackDown has always been the show that respects pure wrestlers more than Monday Night Raw, and The Revival could be the perfect fit for its tag team division.
#4 EC3
The NXT heartthrob debuted recently and has done nothing of worth since he came out on the main roster.
He hasn't been on the mic as much as he and his fans would have wanted, has lost to Dean Ambrose and is being sidelined since the past few weeks.
Moving to SmackDown would give him some much needed time to get back into his true character and grow as a wrestler by feuding with the likes of Orton and Bryan. Being stuck on Raw won't do him any favours moving forward, and he'll be known as another of the NXT call-ups who miserably failed on the main roster.
#3 Daniel Bryan
It's a proven fact that The Planet's Champion can go toe to toe with the very best. He has had a decorated career in WWE, and is playing his part of a heel to perfection at the moment.
After losing the title to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania, Bryan should be drafted to Raw, where he could hang with the likes of The Shield, Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor. With the kind of popularity Bryan boasts, there's not a shred of doubt that he will be able to hold his own on the red brand.
#2 Asuka
From what we have been witnessing since the past few months, Asuka is still one of the most exciting superstars on the blue brand. She made Becky Lynch tap out at the Royal Rumble, and will most likely face Lacey Evans at the grandest stage of them all.
Asuka needs to win at WrestleMania, drop the belt to Lacey Evans on the SmackDown after Mania and head towards Monday Night Raw. The fans have been clamouring for a face-off between Asuka and Ronda Rousey and it's time to make the dream match happen, possibly at Summerslam 2019.
#1 AJ Styles
AJ Styles was drafted to SmackDown after his initial stint on Monday Night Raw. Ever since coming to SmackDown, AJ has become the best pure athlete on the blue brand and has given us memorable feuds with the likes of Cena and Bryan.
Now that he has spent the majority of his career on Tuesday nights, it's time for Styles to switch back to Raw and give us some fresh matches with the top stars of the red brand.
