Having him come out and decimate the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion, Finn Balor on an episode of Raw before Mania would instantly remind fans of the Kevin Owens of old and would also set up a potential show-stealing match at WrestleMania. On top of that, it would also help bring some legitimacy back to the Intercontinental Champion after two terrible runs from Dean Ambrose and Bobby Lashley.
