Braun Strowman was the favorite to be crowned the Universal Champion of RAW at Crown Jewel. However, WWE Creative disappointed the fans and put the belt back around Brock Lesnar's waist.

With Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles already scheduled for Survivor Series, there is zero chance that we will see the Universal title being defended before the Royal Rumble PPV. WWE can utilize this time to build a feud between Strowman and McIntyre and the two may even clash for the first time in a TLC match to determine Lesnar's opponent for the Royal Rumble event.

Survivor Series 2018 could be the perfect stage to kick-start the build to this match. With Corbin's personal hatred keeping Strowman away from team RAW, the Monster could take out both Corbin and McIntyre from the match to show his anger.
