For those fans who may be unaware, it has been confirmed now that WWE will be hosting the next Superstar Shake-Up during their shows in Canada on the 15th and 16th of April. The news was broken during the Canadian broadcast of RAW last night and you can check out the promo below:
With the Superstar Shake-up just a little more than two months away, let's take an early look at which WWE RAW Superstars should head over to the blue brand post-WrestleMania.
#5 Sasha Banks and/or Bayley
Sasha Banks needs to move to SmackDown during the Superstar Shake-Up no matter what. Whether Bayley moves with her depends on a couple of factors.
Bayley and Sasha Banks are currently favourites to become the first ever WWE Women's Tag-Team Champions at WWE Elimination Chamber later this month. If that happens and they successfully defend their titles at WrestleMania (hopefully against Trish Stratus and Lita), then they both have to move to SmackDown.
If that doesn't happen, the second scenario in which Bayley should be moved to the blue brand has to do with Charlotte Flair. If Charlotte is added to the RAW Women's Championship match at WrestleMania and is moved to the red brand, then Bayley definitely needs to head to SmackDown.
#4 The Revival
The Revival has been criminally underutilized on RAW. To add to that, RAW's tag-team division is quite weak and it rarely gets enough television time. The Revival need to head to SmackDown Live so they can mix it up with the likes of The Bar, The New Day and The Usos - three of the best tag-teams in professional wrestling.
SmackDown also puts a heavier emphasis on their tag-team division which is incidentally perfect for The Revival.
#3 Ember Moon
RAW has a really deep women's division and it will only get more crowded after WrestleMania. Becky Lynch is almost certain to move to Monday nights and it's possible that Charlotte Flair could also join her. The latter depends a lot on what WWE's plans for Flair at WrestleMania are.
With a division that deep, a lot of talented Superstars may not get enough time and one person WWE can't afford to let that happen to is Ember Moon. The Shenom has an incredible future ahead of her and but to reach her full potential, she needs time and exposure.
On SmackDown Live, Ember Moon can quickly become one of the top challengers for the SmackDown Women's Championship. It also opens up the fact that we'll see a lot of fresh matches for Ember Moon including against Carmella, Mandy Rose, Naomi a, d Asuka.
#2 Sami Zayn
I think that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens need to be kept apart for a little bit now. They're amazing together but we need to see them on their own again for a bit. WWE didn't do much with Sami Zayn after he moved to WWE RAW last year before Zayn went down with an injury.
The massively talented former NXT Champion needs a fresh start and the best thing for him would be to move to SmackDown, where he could easily slot into the less crowded WWE Championship scene.
There a number of interesting matches waiting for Sami Zayn on SmackDown including matches against Daniel Bryan, Andrade, Samoa Joe and of course a rematch with Shinsuke Nakamura. We all know that Sami Zayn can hang with some of the best wrestlers in the world and it's high time that WWE gives him a chance to show what he can do.
#1 Finn Balor
Finn Balor could move to SmackDown tomorrow and easily slot into the top of the card as one of the main-eventers. The fact that RAW has such a crowded upper mid card and the fact that the absentee Universal Champion doesn't defend his title more than a handful of times every year hasn't helped Finn Balor at all and he rarely had any good storylines in 2018.
However, he got the chance to show us what he was capable of when he faced Brock Lesnar at the WWE Royal Rumble. Balor is also one of the most popular Superstars amongst the WWE Universe.
If WWE move Balor to SmackDown, he can finally take his rightful place at the top of the card, where he belongs. I'd also love to see Finn Balor face Superstars like Randy Orton, Andrade, Daniel Bryan, and Jeff Hardy.
