John Cena, who recently returned to the WWE, has two Royal Rumble wins - 2008 and 2013, and is one win behind the most Royal Rumble wins, a record currently held by Stone Cold Steve Austin (3).
But, I, like a lot of WWE fans hope that Cena isn't the last man standing in the 30-man Royal Rumble match at Chase Field on January 27, 2019.
The single biggest reason why Cena shouldn't win the Royal Rumble is that he is a part-time wrestler, much like Brock Lesnar - another Superstar who makes infrequent appearances on RAW and WWE television.
WWE may want Cena to win the Rumble, set up a Championship match for WrestleMania 35 where he wins his 17th World title, which would be the highest, eclipsing Ric Flair.
While Cena does deserve the record, there could be another way of giving him this accolade, rather than taking the spot off of a much-deserving full-time Superstar.
