Samoa Joe is one of the most decorated call-ups from NXT, being one of only two men to win the NXT Championship twice. His run on both RAW and SmackDown Live has seen him challenge for the WWE Championship and Universal Championship multiple times, but ultimately faltering each time.

Joe is one of the best talkers in the business, consistently delivering stellar promos. He captivates the audience with his aura and the tone of his voice. As far as heels go, there aren’t many that can carry a storyline quite as he can.

Joe is also a great performer in the ring. He moves like a man half his size, doing Pele kicks like a cruiserweight. His in-ring storytelling is also top notch. He parlays his ruthless persona into using any means necessary to destroy his opponents.

The one knock on Joe would be the lack of a quality finishing move. He used to have the Muscle Buster, but since the unfortunate injury to Tyson Kidd, he has virtually retired the move. He does have the Cocina Clutch which is a great submission move, but having a top-notch move to get a pin is necessary. Joe has the size and athleticism to introduce a devastating new finisher to his repertoire. If he debuts this to win his first title, that only adds fuel to the torch that Joe can already carry.
