The Animal Batista returned to the WWE last month

The Animal is back in the WWE, but not as a member of the Hall of Fame.

Returning just over a week ago on RAW, Batista ambushed Ric Flair, who had been celebrating his 70th birthday, before directly addressing his former mentor Triple H.

But with an incredible career, including two Royal Rumble victories and multiple WrestleMania main events, many have wondered why the Animal isn't a member of the Hall of Fame.

Speaking to British newspaper The Mirror, Batista said it came down to age, as he feel he would only go in when he felt his career was over.

With the Animal back in the WWE, and looking at facing Triple H at WrestleMania 35, it seems that there is plenty of years before the former World Heavyweight Champion takes his spot in the Hall of Fame.
