#2 The Ultimate Warrior
One of the WWE's most controversial stars, it's hard to deny just how popular the Ultimate Warrior was during the Hulkamania era.
With his intense ferocity and face paint, Warrior crushed everyone in his way, including Rick Rude at Summerslam 1989, to win the Intercontinental Championship.
After squaring off with WWF Champion Hulk Hogan during the 1990 Rumble, it was clear that the fans wanted to see the two face off, which they did at WrestleMania 6, with both titles being on the line.
In front of a jam-packed SkyDome in Toronto, it was the Warrior who reigned supreme, becoming the first man to hold the WWF and Intercontinental Championships simultaneously.
This match, and this show, had ramifications decades later though, as several major WWE Superstars have said they attended, including Edge, Christian, Lance Storm and Renee Young.
