Seth Rollins had a dream run as the Universal Champion until it was put to an end by The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel. With Wyatt being a SmackDown Superstar, it is highly unlikely that the two will clash again anytime soon and Rollins can put his desire for a rematch on hold. Rollins, however, will surely win the WWE Championship next year.
The Architect has fallen prey to the exact same animosity from the fans that Roman Reigns had faced a few years back. While Rollins is continuing the top babyface schtick on RAW, for now, we wonder how long that will last, as the wheels of an upcoming heel turn are already in motion.
Eventually, Rollins will need a change in character and an edgier character would certainly help reinvigorate the former WWE Champion. Rollins is the safest option for RAW as the top guy, and it is inevitable that he becomes the WWE Champion next year, even if he serves as just a transitional one.
