KENTA wants the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
KENTA is yet to get his hands on the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. However, ever since arriving in New Japan Pro Wrestling, the former WWE Superstar has been on a hot streak.

The Bullet Club star is already a former NEVER Openweight Champion and has established his place as one of the most over wrestlers in NJPW. Not only that, but KENTA is also a primary member of the Bullet Club, which is quite an exciting position to be in while working with NJPW.
In recent months, KENTA has even appeared in All Elite Wrestling and unsuccessfully challenged Jon Moxley for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. After his recent feud against YOSHI-HASHI in NJPW, KENTA tweeted out claiming that it is time for him to get the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.
Briefcase..... Bo stuff.....What’s my next? It’s about time to get IWGP title on my waist. pic.twitter.com/xqWS6kgnP3
KENTA's popularity was certainly boosted when he made his return to the US and showed up on AEW. That in itself should definitely be a huge factor in him possibly challenging for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
Currently, in his early 40s, KENTA remains one of the strongest in-ring performers and New Japan could consider having the former WWE Superstar win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at some point down the road before it's too late.
