Rey Mysterio is arguably the best high flyer in WWE. The 'biggest little man' has been a babyface and a fan favourite throughout his career except when the fans jeered him for being the final entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble.

His last appearance in WWE was on April 7, 2014. On February 26, 2015, WWE announced they have not renewed Rey Mysterio's contract ending his 13-year stay with the company.
In December 2015, "The Master of 619" signed with Lucha Underground after a brief stint in the independent circuit. In an interview with Title Match Wrestling, Rey Mysterio did not rule out the chances of returning to WWE but he feels satisfied in Lucha Underground.
