There is a lot that is being done to build up the idea of the upcoming clash between Edge and Randy Orton at WWE Backlash as the greatest wrestling match ever. In fact, WWE legends such as Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, who have had some of the greatest wrestling matches ever are being brought in to weigh in on the contest and the fact of the matter is that whatever does happen at Backlash, if it's a regular wrestling match, then it's going to disappoint a lot of fans.

Asking Ric Flair to predict the outcome of [insert name here] vs Randy Orton is like asking Seth Rollins to start a TikTok. We know the answer, it's not surprising. #WWERaw

Did you know a top WWE Superstar just wrestled outside the company? More details HERE
But the most likely outcome that I can actually think of is that WWE will have Randy Orton deliver a low blow or just roll Edge up and this will lead to a 3-count in merely 10 seconds. This will be the ultimate swerve from WWE from fans who will expect this contest to last an hour or more. This, to me, is the only way that WWE books themselves out of this pickle they're currently in.
