Another week closer to Money In The Bank and we have another stacked episode of WWE's Monday Night RAW, on paper at least. In this article, instead of looking at what's already been announced, let's take a look at some surprises we might see tonight on RAW.
#5: Another win for the B-Team
The B-Team, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, got the first win of their RAW career as the B-Team last week on RAW. Could they follow up that win with another win to make it 2 wins in a row? There's definitely a good chance we could see them on a run like Heath Slater and Rhyno had after they first got together on SmackDown.
4: Nia Jax turns heel
WWE announcing Nia Jax vs Ronda Rousey may not have been the best idea to start off their feud but this could still be great for both women. Rousey and Jax will face each other at Money In The Bank for the RAW Women's Championship and with both women babyfaces, the question is, what will the face/heel dynamic be.
As WWE's big new signing Rousey definitely can't be the heel so there is a decent chance that Jax turns heel, despite the super amicable way the match got booked.
3: Jinder Mahal gets cheered like a babyface
Jinder Mahal got steamrolled last week on RAW, although any other synonym of utterly destroyed would do. Not once but twice, Mahal got laid out by Roman Reigns, and Reigns got booed both times.
It's a testament to how badly fans have reacted to the Roman-Brock storyline that Roman gets booed even when he takes out one of RAW's top heels.
If Jinder gets his revenge on Roman tonight, there's a good chance that he gets cheered instead of booed.
2: Stephanie McMahon returns
Kurt Angle has been under increasing pressure in recent weeks and the return of Kevin Owens to RAW, which was an executive decision made by Stephanie McMahon, hasn't helped matters.
Owens complained to McMahon last week and forced his way into getting another shot at a spot in the Money In The Bank ladder match, one which he grabbed with both hands.
Will we see Stephanie McMahon back on RAW for one night only to address the state of RAW and what she thinks of the job Kurt Angle is doing with WWE's flagship brand?
1: The segment with Lashley's sisters actually turns out to be good
Bobby Lashley's reintroduction to WWE hasn't gone the way WWE had hoped for so far. It wasn't going his way already and then the interview with Renee Young happened. This week on RAW, Sami Zayn has invited Bobby Lashley's sisters to the show.
WWE are trying to get Lashley over as a top-babyface and if they really think this is the way to get Lashley over, pro wrestling needs new ideas. This segment looks set to be a trainwreck so if the segment actually turns out to be good, it will be a huge surprise.
