I know that it would be absolutely criminal to have Bray Wyatt drop the Universal Championship at this point in time to a part-timer like Goldberg, but it's very difficult to bet against the WCW legend. I mean who would have ever thought that he would become the WWE Universal Champion during his last run when he made short work of Kevin Owens?
And therefore, it is all too possible that Goldberg would be the face of SmackDown in the year 2020, and whether or not a certain section of the current audience likes it, it is sure to entice a lot of lapsed fans to watch the product. Goldberg's popularity rivaled that of Stone Cold Steve Austin back in 1998 and there are many fans who miss the more hard-edged era as compared to today's significantly more safer product.
As for Bray Wyatt, I'm afraid that such a decision may diminish his aura in a major way. It may work in much the same manner that Asuka lost her steam when her streak ended.
