Because it is a match where Kevin Owens seems like the clear winner at this point, it does seem to me that Shane McMahon will cheat to send Kevin Owens out of WWE for a brief spell. And when this happens, Owens can potentially go to NXT and help revitalize ratings against the competition.
We already know that the 'main roster' in a sense is really packed and the idea of mobile rosters has been discussed for a really long time. At this particular point in time, it is amply clear that Superstars can move both up and down to and from NXT, which means that each of them has a chance to work against a fresh bunch of opponents to keep things fresh and exciting.

Owens could take on the likes of Matt Riddle or Keith Lee or even someone like Johnny Gargano or Tommaso Ciampa because there are a whole bunch of exciting feuds waiting for him in the black and gold brand. He could also potentially team up with someone like The Velveteen Dream for a brief period of time and challenge for the tag team championships.
The possibilities are endless.
