5 Surprises that could take place next month in WWE

This month of December is probably one of the worst months for WWE this year. After all, both brands draw the lowest ratings in their history. And to take account into this situation, WWE used Seth Rollins as their mic this past week.

Rollins said that these few weeks have been the worst weeks ever in WWE history, basically saying "RAW Sucks". And to solve the issue, the whole McMahon family showed up this week on RAW and promised a fresh start for the company.

So, as the month of December is just about to come to an end and the first month of 2019 is about to arrive, let me list those five possible surprises that might happen next month in WWE.

#5 Paige becomes the new general manager of 205 Live

Making Paige the new GM of 205 Live will be the best move as she needs to be around WWE TV till her movie "Fighting With My Family" releases

Drake Maverick became the general manager of 205 Live a few months ago. He was running the division as a babyface G.M. But since he has become the AOP's manager, the two roles just doesn't make sense.

His role as AOP's manager is designed for gaining heat while his role as 205 Live's manager is doing quite the opposite.

So, be seeing it WWE might think to make Paige the new GM of 205 Live as she has proved herself already when she was assigned as the SmackDown Live's GM. So putting Paige on 205 Live will be a great move as it'll attract those fans also to the show who wants to see Paige.

So, maybe as early as next month we might see WWE announcing Paige's new role in WWE- 205 Live General Manager.

In my opinion, making Paige the new GM of 205 Live will be the best move as she needs to be around WWE TV till her movie "Fighting With My Family" releases, as she needs to promote it.

#4 Bray Wyatt returns with a new gimmick

The question here really is that is he going to appear on Monday Night Raw or will WWE hold him till the Royal Rumble PPV

Last time Bray Wyatt was seen live on WWE TV was back in July, where he was working with Matt Hardy as a unit. Also, Wyatt made his return this past month, when he answered Baron Corbin's open challenge at WWE Starrcade.

Since then the one-half of the 'Deleters of Worlds' hasn't been seen around. And as per the latest rumor, Wyatt is all set to return to WWE TV this next month.

Though, it's not clear if Wyatt will return with his same old 'bizarre gimmick' or with a new one, at least he'll be live in action soon.

The question here really is that is he going to appear on Monday Night Raw or will WWE hold him till the Royal Rumble PPV and will introduce him as a surprise entrant.

No matter if Wyatt returns on Raw or at Royal Rumble PPV, as long as he'll return next month all things are good.

#3 Daniel Bryan vs Mustafa Ali for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble

Though Ali might not win the title, it will give WWE the time they need to search a new opponent for Bryan

Mustafa Ali recently got drafted to SmackDown Live from 205 Live. Ali appeared on the blue brand this past week when he interrupted the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. So from two weeks, two men are involved in a feud.

Also, this Tuesday it was Ali's second week on SmackDown Live and he pinned the WWE Champion.

So, it clearly indicates that the two men will now feud for the championship leaving AJ Styles out of the title picture, for good.

And as Bryan currently don't have any other better option than Mustafa Ali on SmackDown Live so it seems we're heading towards a title match between the two-man at Royal Rumble.

Though Ali might not win the title, it will give WWE the time they need to search a new opponent for Bryan, the winner of the Royal Rumble match.

In my opinion, Bryan vs Ali at Royal Rumble PPV for the WWE Championship would be a fantastic match-up as we'll see something different than usual.

#2 Finn Bálor wins the Men's Royal Rumble match

What could be a better way to push Finn Bálor than making him win the next year's Royal Rumble match?

Finn Bálor has stayed in an irrelevant spot since his return to WWE following WrestleMania 33. Since then the Irishman is only booked as a mid-card superstar. Not this, but also he didn't even receive his obligatory re-match, for the championship which he never lost.

And now following the announcement of new-era by the McMahon's, the things seem to be changing for 'The Demon King', Finn Bálor. As per the latest rumor, Bálor is all set to receive a huge push and as WWE universe is already behind him it's easy for WWE to push him to the top spot.

And what could be a better way to push Finn Bálor than making him win the next year's Royal Rumble match.

Yes, this seems possible since Drew McIntyre's push is halted and Seth Rollins is rumored to get himself out of the title picture.

So, this leaves Bálor as the only guy who will win the RR match and go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

#1 Becky Lynch wins the Women's Royal Rumble match

Becky Lynch winning the second Women's Royal Rumble match would be less of a surprise as she's already pushing hard

Becky Lynch recently lost her SmackDown Women's Championship to Asuka at WWE TLC PPV following Ronda Rousey's interference in the match.

And as it's already clear that we're heading towards Rousey vs Lynch at WrestleMania 35, so the best possible way to set-up this dream match would be making Lynch win the upcoming women's RR match.

This way she can challenge Ronda Rousey for a match at WM and we'll finally see what we were about to see at this year's Survivor Series PPV.

In my opinion, Becky Lynch winning the second Women's Royal Rumble match would be less of a surprise as she's already pushing hard and she wins the RR match would be the most logical step into her push.
