Last week had two of the most exciting episodes of WWE television we've seen in a while. From big debuts to even bigger returns, last week saw a flurry of surprises as well as the announcement of yet another Superstar shake-up that's meant to take place this week. Let's talk about five things that might be in store for the fans tonight.
#1 Daniel Bryan moves to RAW
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
After Daniel Bryan's much-anticipated return to the ring that made the fans go wild at WrestleMania, he fought yet again on SmackDown last week against AJ Styles. Paige replaced him as the General Manager of RAW which caused us to suspect that Bryan's future in the ring would be tied to the RAW brand.
Tonight's Superstar Shakeup could change things a lot between the brands, as far as the talents are concerned, and we would really love to see Bryan grace RAW with his presence.
#2 The Iconics attack Carmella
Last week saw the arrival of The Iconics, Billi Kay and Peyton Royce on SmackDown and the two wasted no time making their presence felt by attacking the SmackDown Women's Champion, Charlotte. After the two women had beaten the Queen senseless, Miss Money in the Bank, Carmella stepped out to capitalise on the downed Superstar's condition and becoming the new Champion in the process.
It was solely because of the Iconics that Carmella snagged the victory and the duo probably will make it a point to deliver the same kind of punishment on the new champ tonight. I would say it's highly likely that Charlotte would team up with Carmella to face the two.
#3 Bray Wyatt turns on the Hardys
Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy were enjoying a very successful tag team run recently. Although the two aren't exactly likely partners, Jeff's injuries kept him away from the ring and the outcome of this odd pairing was quite spectacular. In fact, they're both a little messed up in the head so it's not really that much of an oddity.
Jeff returned last week on RAW, however, and this could mean that the original Hardy Boyz could be betrayed by the Eater of Worlds sooner than later. Maybe the shakeup could bring around a brand new partner for Bray as well.
#4 Ruby Riott moves to RAW
Ruby Riott and her daredevil antics have made their rounds in NXT before making it to SmackDown in late 2017. It wouldn't be unlikely to see the Punk Rock Ragdoll on RAW tonight which would also mean the end of the Riott Squad, meaning Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan will either find other partners or try their hand at singles competition. This could be a big step up for Riott who definitely deserves a place at the top of the Women's division.
#5 Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn disrupt the Superstar Shake-up
Last week we saw KO and Sami Zayn face each other for the one available spot on RAW but when the match ended in a double count-out, neither Superstar was given employment and they both returned empty-handed. It wouldn't be so far-fetched to assume that both Superstars are quite mad at Kurt Angle for not allowing either of them to join the RAW roster. Maybe the two are even planning to attack a few RAW Superstars or even Angle himself during tonight's proceedings.
In addition, if they do a good enough job causing hell on RAW, maybe Shane McMahon would even take the two back into the SmackDown locker room on Tuesday.
