We really aren’t going to have a heel authority figure again, are we?
There certainly have been some concerns that the Elite, being the bookers, would push themselves into the limelight of AEW. One of the more concerning wrestlers of that group to push would be Brandi Rhodes. She isn’t exactly the most experienced competitor, not having a match in nearly seven months, and it showed against the very experienced Allie. Allie did a majority of the work and Brandi looked really rusty, to say the least.
Sure, Awesome King cheated a bit, but Brandi Rhodes was still able to pick up a win over Allie. When you have a fourteen year veteran in Allie along with many other talented female performers in AEW, it seems strange that Brandi would get the first ever singles win on a main card for the Women’s Division. I am sure we all hope that Brandi won’t run over the AEW Women’s Division.
