I was shocked that we didn’t get a singles match between Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens on Sunday. But the WWE decided to throw another curveball by adding one of the newest member of the Smackdown roster, Mustafa Ali to the WWE Championship match. It was funny to watch the audience boo his addition to the title match. That would quickly change.

The WWE Championship match was clearly the match of the night. All three competitors were at the top of their game. We knew Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan could handle this type of match. But it was Mustafa Ali who stole the show. His high flying offense was on perfect display. Daniel Bryan predictably won but all three competitors look great heading into WrestleMania. I hope Ali factors into that show. He deserves it after Sunday.
