# 4 The Dream Wins At Takeover

The Dream finally arrives.

I recently saw an NXT live event in San Diego. One of the many things I observed was the Velveteen Dream is insanely over. It seems Dream finds a way to impress us at each and every Takeover. But he never seems to win on the biggest stage. And beating Kassius Ohno doesn’t really count.

This changed at NXT: Brooklyn. In a match between two wrestlers desperately needing the win, Velveteen Dream won clean. As surprising as it is to see Dream win just his second Takeover match, it is just as surprising to see EC3 remain winless. It is pretty tough to call yourself the “1%” if you don’t win on the biggest stage.
