#1 An NXT Championship Ending That Is Controversial
Poor Aleister Black. He finally would have had a main event at an NXT Takeover and he got injured. It likely rushed up a third match between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for Brooklyn. The fact they still find ways to surprise us after three matches is impressive. They find new ways to use the ring, tables, chairs and even poor employees near ringside. I hope the WWE has some good hazard pay.

The ending was certainly a surprise that will likely divide the crowd. Johnny attempt to “end” Ciampa backfired and caused Gargano to do a brutal looking spot knee first into a table. Ciampa makes it to his feet at 9 and retains. Gargano’s anger causes him to lose the NXT Championship and the evil Ciampa continues to hold the title. This feud is never ending is it?
