AJ Styles takes a brutal fall in the WWE TLC match

It certainly didn’t seem that The Miz would be cashing in on Sunday night at WWE TLC 2020 ahead of the show. It isn’t very often a Money in the Bank briefcase holder cashes in on a lower level pay-per-view event. The Miz taking advantage during the WWE Championship ladder match was certainly a huge surprise. The only thing that was more surprising was to see a rare Money in the Bank holder actually lose their opportunity.

The WWE Championship ladder match between Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles was as excellent as one would expect it to be. They took some brutal looking bumps, especially through some tables, on Sunday night at WWE TLC 2020. As both were laid out in and outside of the ring, The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. He likely should have remembered that Styles has help from the 7-foot Omos.

Omos threw The Miz through a table and led the match into its chaotic ending where all three men had a real chance to win the title at WWE TLC 2020. Drew McIntyre retained his title in an excellent ending to the TLC match. The Miz might go down as a rare cash-in failure but at least he did so in spectacular fashion.
