Kevin Owens has taken quite a beating in recent weeks on WWE Smackdown. It seemed like he would get destroyed at WWE TLC 2020 against Roman Reigns. In surprising fashion, he looked quite impressive on Sunday in the WWE Championship TLC match.

The TLC match at WWE TLC 2020 was likely the best of the entire night. Roman Reigns played the dastardly heel perfectly. Reigns and Jey Uso did their best to brutalize Kevin Owens on Sunday night on multiple occasions. The table spots, chair shots and the brutal fall on the ladder sold Kevin Owens as the babyface who simply wouldn’t quit.

He had multiple and very believable false finishes and got Reigns to drive himself through the ringside barricade. He got another false finish after his brilliant pop-up powerbomb of Reigns through a table.
After Jey Uso prevented Kevin Owens from winning yet again, it allowed Roman Reigns to recover and get the Guillotine choke on Kevin Owens. This finally allowed Reigns to retain the title. It cannot be denied that Kevin Owens looked like an unstoppable force in the process. That is a win for all involved going into 2021.
