It was a surprise to see the Firefly Inferno match as the main event of the final pay-per-view of 2020. As the match drew to a close at WWE TLC 2020, it made a lot of sense why this match was last. After the match’s shocking ending, could anyone else have possibly followed that?
The match got off to an interesting start at WWE TLC 2020. It started like a normal match but quickly went off the rails. Fans don't expect many matches to end with a Superstar catching on fire. But in a year that is like a horror movie in itself, we might as well get it on Sunday night.

There were some truly surprising and crazy things that fans witnessed on Sunday night. The Fiend tried to attack Randy Orton with an axe. He even tried to set him on fire while Orton was in a rocking chair. It was a pretty cool visual but more was to come that was even crazier.
After a few attempts to set each other on fire, Randy Orton was able to push The Fiend into the fire. The Fiend was on fire and he attempted to attack Randy Orton in the ring. Randy Orton hit the best RKO of his career - on a man on fire.
That would have been an insane and crazy way to end WWE TLC 2020, but the WWE had one more surprising twist in store. Randy Orton must have felt winning the Inferno match wasn’t enough so he doused The Fiend in gasoline and set him on fire. Yes, Randy Orton murdered a man in the wrestling ring to end 2020. In this the craziest of years, why not end 2020 in the WWE with a cold-blooded murder?
