At WWE WrestleMania 37 Night One, we had a celebrity tag match. WrestleMania has been well known for its celebrity appearances over the years. On Saturday night, Bad Bunny, a 27 year old rapper, was involved in a tag team match against The Miz and John Morrison.

How would he perform in his first ever match?

He was beyond impressive and was easily the best celebrity performance in WrestleMania history. It was surprising to see someone that good in a debut wrestling performance.

The tag team match was set up so perfectly at WWE WrestleMania 37 Night One. The Miz and John Morrison naturally took Bad Bunny lightly at first. That quickly changed. Bad Bunny hit an impressive array of offense including an armdrag, a headscissors and a DDT. It got the crowd into the match.

The Miz and John Morrison tried to isolate Bad Bunny but he was able to tag in Damien Priest to even the odds. It led to some great brawling and some near falls that the Tampa crowd was really invested in. Then came the moment of the night.

On the outside of the ring, Bad Bunny hit an amazing Canadian Destroyer on John Morrison. How could a novice wrestler hit such an impressive move so perfectly? It was a WrestleMania moment for sure. Shortly after that, Damien Priest lifted The Miz over his shoulders, allowing Bad Bunny to hit a cross body block for the pinfall win.

The crowd enjoyed Bad Bunny’s incredible performance and rightly so. Here is hoping we get an encore performance from Bunny one day. He showed on Saturday night at WWE WrestleMania 37 that he belonged in a wrestling ring.
