You could tell how much this WrestleMania moment meant on Saturday night.

It was a bold choice to make the main event of WWE WrestleMania 37 Night One the SmackDown Women's Championship match. Sasha Banks is one of the most talented female wrestlers of all time. But it was Bianca Belair's first ever WrestleMania match.

Could she perform at a high level on such a momentous occasion?

On Saturday night, the answer was a clear yes.

It was nice to see the WrestleMania crowd give a standing ovation to Belair and Banks before the match even began. You could tell how much it meant to both of them.

They told an excellent story in the main event on Saturday night. Belair constantly impressed with her great displays of athleticism and strength. Banks played the cocky champion well and smartly used Belair’s long hair against her on multiple occasions.

The finish was extremely well done at WWE WrestleMania 37 Night One. Since Banks was constantly attacking Belair’s hair, it made sense to have Belair hit Banks with it before landing a KOD slam to pick up the victory.

It was still a huge surprise to see a wrestler main event her first WrestleMania, and end the night winning the title. It was a special moment and one that will hopefully create a huge star in the WWE for years to come.
