Apollo gets some help to win his first Intercontinental Championship.

At WrestleMania 37 Night Two, we had the first-ever Nigerian Drum Fight. And as is to be expected in the Drum Fight, the stars used numerous kendo sticks and lots of steel steps. They didn’t even bother to play or use the drums at all!

Needless to say, it was pretty disappointing that the Nigerian Drum Fight turned out to be a very traditional Street Fight. But that isn’t to say this brief match didn’t have some real surprises at WrestleMania 37 Night Two.

The Street Fight was a pretty straightforward match. The action was pretty good in the brief seven-minutes match, but it was surprising to see an interference to end the match at WrestleMania. The wrestler formerly known as Dabba Kato attacked Big E, which allowed Apollo Crews to pick up the pinfall victory and win the Intercontinental Championship for the very first time.

Apollo Crews now has a big man by his side and it could be the beginning of an interesting reign for Crews. It is great to see Apollo getting a chance to shine after all these years. It is just surprising to see some cheating required to win the title.
